About

Hi, my name is Jeffrey So. I am a software engineer based in Canada. I am a graduate from the University of Toronto.

I am currently working at The Home Depot as a Senior Frontend Software Developer. I spearhead the frontend development of product promotion capability at www.homedepot.ca. For the last few years, we have created a product promotion system from the ground up. It allows our product supplier (e.g. Ryobi, Dewalt) to advertise products on the front page, as well as various other very noticeable position. This has created a significant additional revenue stream for our company.

I also previously worked as Full Stack Software Developer for 2 years at TrackEnsure, a fleet management startup based in Toronto. Some of the applications that I helped build are now used by more than 5000 Canadian truck drivers every day.
